Lessons for the Week of 5/18/20

Hi Lincoln Families!

We made it! This is the last (short) week of lessons for the 2019-2020 school year, what a year it has been!

I’ve posted two lessons for this week, but I’m only requiring students to complete the first lesson. Once you complete lesson #15, you are all finished for the school year! The second lesson (#16) is there if students would like to do it, or are looking for something to do later on, but it is completely optional! 🙂

I’m also going to post two more lessons next week, just to wrap up the content we were working on, these  are completely optional as well! If you’ve been enjoying the lessons and what to finish them out, they are there to complete whenever you’d like, even if it is later in the summer!

Please see my video below! I miss seeing each of you every day at school. I miss our singing, playing and laughing. I can’t wait until we are all able to learn together again at Lincoln, that day will be here before we know it. I’m counting down! In the meantime, I hope you all stay safe, happy and healthy at home and have a GREAT summer! Keep on singing your favorite songs, and before you know it, this will all be over! I love and miss you all!

Lessons Posted for Week of 4/6/20

Hi Lincoln Families,

Thank you all for your patience last week as we were dealing with some website and video issues. I think I’ve worked most of it out for this coming week and am hoping for smooth sailing!

New lessons are posted for the week of April 6th, 2020. Please follow the lesson videos and then complete any interactive activities shown in the video. Written direction are linked with all videos (except kindergarten, which is only the video).

Please let me know if you have any questions or need any help!

Hope you all are taking care!

New Lesson Videos Added

Hello again Lincoln students and families!

In light of musicplayonline not functioning properly, I have turned each 1st-3rd grade lesson into a video. Each lesson is up and ready to go!

I actually think this will be even better because I can be in the video guiding the students through the lesson. I’ve also added any pages they need in order to complete the activities.

Hoping this will work much better! Let me know if you have any issues, this is still a work in progress! 🙂

*EDIT* The musicplayonline website is back up and running! They have taken away the login process all together, so all you need to do is go to the site to access the content. I still recommend using the new videos I posted yesterday that walk the students through the lesson, but then they can go on the site to try some of the interactive activities from the lesson on their own, instead of doing them on paper.

Musicplay Online

Hi Lincoln students and families! As many of you know, the musicplayonline website is not working properly. I was hoping the issue would be resolved today, but it seems everyone is still experiencing difficulty logging in. I’m working to create some alternate plans and will share them as soon as possible. Thanks so much for your patience as we figure out online learning together!

Lincoln Music Online

Hi Lincoln Families,

Welcome to Lincoln Music Online! I’m excited to share fun assignments and activities with you during our week of online learning! Please check this website on a regular basis to make sure you don’t miss a new assignment! Remember to check out the “Games and Websites” tab for other fun online music games.

Enjoy spending some extra time with your families, but know that I miss you all and am excited to see you all back together again!

Love, Mrs. Murphy
